Why now

Most people pick a path blind.
Then spend years walking it.

School tells you to “follow your passion.” Recruiters tell you what's hot. Parents tell you what's safe. None of them tell you what fits you. We built Intersect so you can find out before the deadline pressure starts.

01

The quiz problem

One-shot quizzes flatten you into “Doctor, Lawyer, Engineer.” Real careers live at the intersection of three or four things you care about, not at the centre of one.

02

The Google problem

You search “good careers” and get listicles written by people selling courses. Job titles drift. Salaries lie. Day-in-the-life videos are sponsored.

03

The decision-too-late problem

By the time you realise Law isn't for you, you've spent three years on A-levels designed for it. Intersect lets you eliminate fields before they cost you anything.

The result

A map that's actually yours. Not a list someone else wrote. Pick what's true about you, watch your options assemble themselves around you, and save the ones that pull, strike out the ones that don't.

How it works

From scattered interests to a map
that's actually yours.

Four small actions. Two minutes. No signup. Your map keeps building as you live. Come back when you learn something new about yourself.

Most career tools spit out a verdict and lock you out. Intersect treats your map like a doc you live in: editable, shareable, evolving.

About

We built this because “follow your passion”
doesn't fit everyone.

Intersect is an independent project. The career tool I wish I'd had at 17.

By the time most students are asked to pick a university course, they've been told to “follow your passion”, a phrase that assumes you already know what it is.

Most don't. Most aren't onething — they're a messy combination of skills, subjects, quirks, and small obsessions. That combination is the whole point. Careers live at the intersection, not at the centre. We built Intersect to make that visible.

No quiz, no verdict, no locked-in answer. Just a living map you can edit, eliminate from, and share with the people who help you decide. Use it for 2 minutes or 2 years. The map is yours.

For the Student

You're not lost. You just haven't seen the full map yet.

Most tools hand you a list of 5 careers and call it guidance. Intersect works differently — it finds the careers that only exist when your specific interests combine. Add what you're into. See what's possible at the edges. No signup, no pressure, no one watching.

For the Parent

Career anxiety usually comes from a narrow map, not a lost child.

Students default to the 5 careers they've heard of because no one has shown them the other hundred. Intersect expands what's visible — built from their actual interests, grounded in real salary data and real pathways. It doesn't prescribe. It opens doors they didn't know existed.

For the Counsellor

A tool that does the exposure work, so you can do the deeper work.

Intersect surfaces intersection careers — fields that don't appear in standard RIASEC tools. Use it as a conversation starter before a session, or send it as pre-work. Students arrive having already seen 4–6 fields matched to their interests. Your session starts at depth, not from scratch.

PRINCIPLE 01
Combination over category

You aren't a “STEM student” or an “arts student.” You're a specific mix, and that mix unlocks specific fields most lists never name.

PRINCIPLE 02
Honest over hopeful

We tell you what sucks about each career — the boring days, the bad pay years, the politics — not just the highlights reel.

PRINCIPLE 03
Editable over decided

You'll change. So should your map. We let you eliminate fields and say why, so you can re-read your own reasoning later.

PRINCIPLE 04
Subjects aren't a verdict

Your A-levels, your degree, the job you have right now — these are starting points, not boxes. The map shows you what else they unlock.
